On my way.
If you are reading this then most likely you have received one of my support letters. That letter tells the most of it, but I'll be updating this site with more information as I get it concerning my trip, and I will also use this site to communicate and send updates to people while I am away. If you like, you can brows the previous posts to get an idea of what my last trip was like.
For now, you can follow the links on the right to some of Eric Wildgen's sites, but another one I would like to point you towards is a site I will post pictures at. You can view them here:
The Blues
I'll be putting a new picture up there every day until I leave (if I have enough good ones) and will continue to post pictures while I'm away. I can load up several at a time, and then it will automatically post a new one each day for you all to see. I hope you enjoy them.
Right now, please be praying. I have a feeling the three months I will be in Kenya will be the hardest three months of my life. Last summer, we were in the Bush for 2 weeks at a time, but this time we will spend a whole month away from civilization at once. We will even spend the first week in some intense language classes so we can get the basics of Swahili down.
But this is what I want to do. And I believe that this is what God wants me to do. And with a lot of help from God and some great friends and family, I'm able to go.
